Nathan Brugman, Erik Risa, and Reid Wildung have a genuine interest in show pig production and enjoy raising and showing pigs. All three grew up showing pigs in 4-H, FFA, and at open class shows. Each one has a background in judging livestock at different contests and county fairs throughout the Midwest. With their knowledge of the swine industry and the show pig scene they’ve started an excellent herd of purebred Yorkshire hogs that can be used for breeding stock or in the show ring. They’re dedicated to producing superb quality show pigs for any exhibitor!
Nathan grew up near Windom, Minnesota on a farm where he raised sheep and hogs. Nathan now lives in Charles City, Iowa and works for Iowa Select Farms, Iowa's largest pork producer.
Erik is originally from Pipestone, Minnesota and now lives near St. Joseph, Missouri with his wife Kate and son, Collin. Erik has worked for the National Pork Board and now works at Boehringer Ingelheim as a sales trainer.
Reid lives near Madison, Minnesota and has the home farm for BRW Purebreds. Along with his own Hampshire and Crossbred pig herd he stays busy working for Monsanto, farming, and spending time with his two kids, Jaxson and Tenley. |
